On an absolutely gorgeous Saturday the wife and I headed out for protein for our freezer. My minnows needed to be used and the left overs released. Since we can fish for substance we decided to make a day of spider rigging. We landed many quality crappie and came home with lucky thirteen. Also caught a 5-6 lb largemouth and a bunch of catfish. Two large bags of fillets in the freezer for tacos. What a nice day to be out. We both noticed something magical. The sky over DC was gin clear with no smog. A rare sight indeed.
