Well hello , been a while since I posted. Been fishing that whole time with clients and friends. Swamps of VA where very good this year with hundreds of LGMouth and Bowfin. Several snakeheads too. Then 12 days Stuck in Salvo surf fishing due to RT 12 washed out. Surf fishing was good with lots of small blues, trout and you name it. We had 30 fish days when we could fish. The extra 5 days where great. Hated to leave but had charters to get too.
Today I fished for catfish my way. Not the ways of old on the main river, instead back in the creeks. Much better fishing than main river.
Caught some big cats and filled a cooler. All on bluefish caught down in Salvo.
