Regular crew of four that fish with us every summer. It showered for the first hour and a half or so then, became really nice. (they tell me it was nice, I was still sweating a bit) It was tough again and these guys frothed the water. We got one hit and one fish right away and then dry spell. There was a 30 minute period when the hits were coming pretty frequently and we put one more in the boat but, missed all the others. Most of the time it was the fish just not hitting baits on target. Then as fast the hits started, the hits stopped. We got one more fish on a spinner bait.
Cigars were smoked, bourbon was sipped from flasks, Modelo was consumed. Success by their standards.
