Last week while enjoying the snow coming down I heard a very loud boom from the area of my boat. I figured it was big branch from a tree, falling on the awning over the boat. Next day I checked to see if there was any branches on the awning or on the ground around it. None to be found. Saturday I pulled the winter cover to fix a few things and found, both brand new trolling batteries had exploded. Pieces of battery everywhere and the cases they where in, all over the boat also. Battery acid everywhere too. Glad I was not in the boat when they both exploded.
