Bluebird skies and a light southern wind this Saturday. Launch was at 10am and plan was to fish the extreme high tide out going all day. Good plan but the carp did not get the memo till late. Setup on a likely intercept spot and got 2 carp and 4 catfish first thing. Then for three hours it just shut down as the tide ripped dying grass into our lines. Lots of re baiting and then finally the tide slowed. We had doubles and triples in the last hour. And then at one point we had four on. Fights where good with them lasting up to 15 minutes each. Exhausted and covered in grass and slime we called it a day.
